Back to Nature in Morocco's Great Outdoors
Dar Tassa resides in the shadow of the Takherkhort Reserve,
a sanctuary for Toubkal's most noble species, the Barbary
Sheep. The Amaseen gazelle reserve, a must see in neighboring
Marigha, promises this regal endangered species will have
fighting chance to restore its declining population. Be sure
to bring your binoculars, as over 50 species of bird - from
the Grey Partridge to the Alpine Accentor and Chough - make
their nest among the Park's natural wonders. And if you should
decide to set out on a flora and fauna discovery trek, don't
be startled to find reptiles underfoot that recall ancient
