"Excellent stay"
I am delighted to recommend Dar Tassa to anyone lookiing to experience the beauty of the High Atlas Mountains. Nestled up a quiet valley, the hotel enjoys magnificient views over the valley and is a haven of peace. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming and the food was excellent and varied. We had an excellent stay enjoyed by all the family.
The only issue to beware of is the access, which is 6km off the main road along a dirt track

Dar Tassa was amazingly beautiful and the staff were exceedingly friendly and went well out of their way to make sure your stay was the best you've had in Morocco.
Highly recommend Dar Tassa for beautiful views, experiencing local berber life, treks and if you're after a little bit of romance the setting is perfect.
Thank you again for our time spent there and see you again one day.

Skip & I love Dar Tassa the most, of course! Thanks for all your kind hospitality and generosity during our short stay at Dar Tassa (wish we could have stayed longer). I loved being the mint tea brewer and we certainly enjoyed our personal tour of the village and everything you showed us and explained to us. And the food served was outstanding! Tassaourgane and Dar Tassa are certainly the gems of Morocco!

Dear Brahim & Andrea
We want to tell you how much we enjoyed our short stay at Dar Tassa... it was the most wonderful relaxing 3 days we have ever experienced. We are sorry we did not meet you in person, but your staff were superb... Mohammed, Abdulramin and the girls were an absolute joy in every respect.
Amanda took photographs of our cookery lesson and promised Hannan to e mail them to her. We think we copied the address down wrong and could not send them. Perhaps we could send them to you to forward or could you let us have her address again?
We will come back, inshallah!
Kind regards
Jim & Amanda

Dear Brahim and Andrea,
I stayed at Dar Tassa recently with my boyfriend, from 15th - 22nd August and wish to write to you to let you know that our time at Dar Tassa can best be described as the most perfect week away we have ever had. Everything about our stay was fantastic and we cannot thank all the staff at Dar Tassa enough, we have never felt more welcome to stay somewhere, our lovely room, the absolutely superb food which we had the pleasure of enjoying every day and an honour to learn how to make during the moroccan cooking lesson, the location is stunning and we had such a relaxing time on the terrace under the fabulous berber tent, i don't think we are able to really say in words how amazing we found Dar Tassa and Morocco. I would also like to mention how super Abdu was, an amazing host, professional, friendly and we felt looked after to the highest standard.Having relaxed for our first couple of days we then went on a two day Toubkal trek which was incredible and we had our amazing guide, Omar who was friendly, fun and we absolutely loved to trek through the atlas mountain's.
i can say with absolute confidence that we will one day return and would feel very honoured to.
many thanks and warmest regards
Natalie
As Churchill said to Roosevelt, "If you are in Marrakech you owe it to yourself
to visit the Atlas".
Dar Tassa is not a hotel in the traditional sense, it is more an extension of
the generosity and hospitality that stems from the Berbers who run it. The
greatest strength of the guest house (greater even than the stunning location)
is the people who live and work there. The rooms are superb, the food was a
wonderfully rewarding adventure for us, the roof terrace is my favourite place
in the world. I am left with wonderful memories, a changed outlook on life
and a burning desire to return as soon as is humanly possible to stay with my
friends there. I cannot say enough to congratulate everyone involved in creating
something as unique and precious as “The House of Motherly Love”.
Brahim’s boyhood dream has created a wonderful haven; one that provides a
variety of accommodation and possibilities to meet differing requirements and
budgets. Whether trekking, swimming, bird watching, cooking , or, in my case,
marvelling at breathtaking night sky from the roof terrace, there is something
for everyone of every age.
It offers a warm and welcoming environment for those seeking a comfortable
mountain refuge, and for those who wish for superb rooms in a stunning setting.
It inspires, a venue that provides peace in a spectacular and remote location,
whilst providing the best of modern comforts.
Dar Tassa is all about comfort. Lots of richly coloured carpets, cushions and
lanterns adorn the relaxing salon and the smell of freshly brewed mint tea
and dinner cooking. The team are happy to tell you about their Berber culture
and customs, giving a rare insight into life in the High Atlas mountains. A place
where time takes on a different form, creating a natural rhythm which heals
and soothes the spirit. Space to think, to laugh, to share and simply to be.

"Great Stay at Dar Tassa"
We really enjoyed our stay at Dar Tassa. Ham and the girls did everything to make us feel welcome, and it was a really nice change of pace from Marrakesh. Dar Tassa had a great homey feel, and the home-cooked food was teriffic. The nights can be cold in March, so dress warmly. We would highly recommend Dar Tassa to travelers who are interested in getting out of overcrowded and touristy Marrakesh and seeing village life up in the mountains. Very relaxing and beautiful place!
